Linda J. Robinson, Esq. is an attorney in private
practice whose law practice concentrates on matters pertaining to people with disabilities and the elderly. She has advocated
for them and their families for almost 25 years.
Prior to entering private practice she served as Assistant Deputy
Public Advocate with the New Jersey Division of Advocacy for the Developmentally Disabled, and as a staff attorney with the
Community Health Law Project. Ms. Robinson has represented disabled people and the elderly in obtaining services and benefits
from state, local and federal agencies. She litigated In the Matter of M.R., 135 N.J. 155 (1994), one of the leading New
Jersey guardianship cases.
Ms. Robinson's publications include legal guides to social security law and disability entitlement
programs, and articles on special education rights and obtaining services from the N.J. Division of Developmental Disabilities.
She lectures frequently on legal issues of concern to disabled and elderly people.
Ms. Robinson is a member of the
National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; the New Jersey State Bar Association's Elder and Disability Law Section and Real
Propery, Probate and Trust Law Section; and the New Jersey Special Education Practitioners Roundtable.
